I am extremely proud to call this man my grandfather. He fought extremely hard too give me what I have today. My life, my freedom, and my country. Thank you Grandpa and all the other soldiers who gave their life. You will never be forgotten.

Red Wings vs. Jets
My favourite sport is hockey and my favourite team are the Detroit Red Wings. However, I don't live in Detroit, I live far from it. So, you can only imagine my excitement when I found out the Red Wings would be playing my home team, in my hometown! I tried my absolute hardest to find tickets and finally as a last-ditch effort I asked my boss if he knew how I could get some. He said that he had heard a radio announcement about how they had just opened a few more seats up. We went on the computer and after one or two attempts; we were able to get two of the last tickets to the game. Two hours before the game, I got tickets to a hockey game I would have done anything to see!
Good company, great game and even better seats!!

Weekly 'If' Question
If you could spend next New Year's Eve doing anything, what would you do, and with whom?

I have always wanted to spend New Year's Eve in NYC. The party, the people, watching the ball drop and counting down with thousands of people has always been a dream of mine. For years, I've watched the ball drop on TV and I would give anything to experience it myself. Don't get me wrong, I know how hard and dangerous it would be to spend New Year's Eve in Times Square but I think it would be amazing. I would want to spend it with some good friends, I don't want to name names but 5 or 6 really close friends of mine. That would be perfect. I don't think it will happen next year, but I really hope it happens sometime!
Motivational Monday
Today's motivational monday quote is..
“Impossible isn’t something that can’t be done, it’s something that hasn’t been done.”
Who says what is possible and what is impossible? If you asked somebody 100 years ago if they thought man would ever walk on the moon, they’d say it was impossible. Not because it was, but because it was simply undiscovered. This is a good thing to remember next time you feel like something can’t be done, of course it can; you just need to find a way to achieve it.

1) Go To A Pumpkin Patch
~Sadly, I didn't get around to a pumpkin patch this year.
2) Make Halloween Cookies
~I made normal cookies, not Halloween ones. I'm giving myself a half-check for that!
3) Make Caramel Apples
~I ate a caramel apple, I didn't make one. Another half-check!
4) Enjoy A Bonfire
~I had a few, and enjoyed them all!
5) Bake Apple Pie
~Cheyenne and I made apple pie, and it was very good if I do say so myself!
6) Carve A Pumpkin
~Actually, I carved two!
7) Go To A Football Game
~I went to homecoming game. Go Huskies!!
8) Make A Pumpkin Pie
~My aunt, cousin and I baked some for Thanksgiving!
9) Go On A Hay-ride
~I didn't get a chance to do this, but fall isn't quite over yet!
10) Go To A Corn Maze
~I went with some friends and had a great time!
11) Make A Leaf Pile
~I'm actually surprised that I didn't do this!
12) Make Apple Cider
~Not this year, maybe next year!
13) Roast Pumpkin Seeds
~We burnt them, oops!
14) Get A Fall Inspired Manicure
~I haven't yet, but I'm still hoping to complete this one!

~Like #11, I'm surprised I didn't complete this!
16) Get A Pumpkin Spiced Latte ~Lets be honest, I've gotten a few more than one.

~Spending a Saturday night watching the Scream movies in my friends basement, how perfect does that sound?!

~I didn't get around to picking apples, some other time hopefully!
